In the United States, Oregon parliamentarians are trying to repeal the law that no longer considers possession of small amounts of drugs a crime. The so-called “Measure 110” was approved in 2021 by more than 58% of the inhabitants. On the streets, under current law, the police can only fine drug addicts and advise on the availability of treatments.
