Orelsan and Stromae, unsurprising winners of the ceremony

MUSIC VICTORIES. The 38th Victoires de la Musique ceremony was held on Friday February 10, 2023, with no big surprises as to the winners of the evening.

[Mis à jour le 11 février 2023 à 00h47] Victories of music without great surprise. This Friday, February 10, at the musical Seine in Boulogne Billancourt, many artists paraded, most of them very (too?) known to loyal viewers of the high mass of French-speaking music from France 2 and France Inter. Presented by former Miss France Laury Thilleman, the evening dedicated Orelsan, winner in three categories (Original Song, Concert and Audiovisual Creation), ahead of Stromae with two Victories, Artist and Album of the Year.

Next comes another Belgian artist, Angèle, crowned Female Artist of the Year. On the Revelations side, Pierre de Maere and November Ultra each won their category. Apart from these last two artists and their category, the organizers of the Victoires de la Musique ceremony offered no big surprise in terms of results. Note, however, among the highlights of this evening, the moving speech of Serge Lama, moved to tears on receiving his Victory of Honor for his entire career.
