ORF dream start for “Fit with the Stars”

by time news

Conny Kreuter makes the ORF forget Philipp Jelinek. The “Dancing Star” was the first host to accompany Austrians during morning exercise on the show “Fit with the Stars”. With a 50 percent market share, the participatory program reached its highest level to date.

AUSTRIA. It was a cold start for Conny Kreuter and “Fit with the Stars”. Without much warm-up, the professional dancer took over the inheritance from Philipp Jelinek on Monday, who had been out of gymnastics at Küniglberg since last week because of chats between him and Heinz-Christian Strache that became public. Since then, the ORF has been faced with the question of the extent to which TV viewers and the presenter will follow the new show.

Now it’s clear: There was a spark between “Fit with the Stars” and the audience. On average, 191,000 gymnasts took part in the opening training on Monday. The show’s market share was 50 percent. This means that every second person who was in front of the TV at that time was doing gymnastics with the dancer. This is an all-time high that “Fit mit mit Pihlipp” never reached.

Conny Kreuter is still doing gymnastics with the ORF 2 audience this week. In the second week from April 22nd to 26th, “Fit with the Stars” will be presented by ex-ski jumper Andreas Goldberger. Subsequently, former skiers Armin Assinger and Hans Knauß, among others, will be “Fit with the Stars” pre-gymnasts. The program runs every weekday at 9:10 a.m. on “ORF 2”.

Jelinek soon at Red Bull channel?

Philipp Jelinek is said to have already found a new employer. According to media reports, the fitness coach is moving to private rival broadcaster ServusTV. According to reports, Jelinek will go on air there on April 29th with a new format. There is currently no official confirmation from Jelinek or the Red Bull broadcaster.

The collaboration between ORF and Jelinek ended by mutual agreement last week after chats with Strache made the rounds. In it, Jelinek is said to have asked the former FPÖ leader and vice chancellor for support, and in return the TV gymnast wanted to try to provide information about ORF internal affairs.
