Evenings of organ music will be held in the Chamber and Organ music Hall (Kirch) of the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev, Day.Az reports.
On December 4 at 19:00 there will be a concert at which soloist Nigar gahramanova will perform, accompanied by the Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra named after Gar Garayev under the direction of artistic director and chief conductor, People’s Artist Fakhreddin Kerimov. The program will include: a concert for organ and string orchestra by G. Schmidt, a concert for organ and chamber orchestra by S.Ibragimova, “Bayaty-Shiraz” by N. Aliverdibekov, a concert for organ and string orchestra by John Laukvik.
Nigar Gahramanova received her higher education at four prestigious music conservatories between 2011 and 2023, including the Baku Academy of Music named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, the Grieg Academy at the University of Bergen, the Norwegian Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music in London. She studied with world-renowned organists such as Olivier Latry,Frédéric Blanc,Sophie-Véronique Cochefer-Choplin,Vincent Dubois and Martin Schmeding.
On December 13 at 19:00 there will be a concert dedicated to the anniversary of the Honored Artist of Azerbaijan,composer Arif Mirzoyev. The concert will feature soloist Evgeniy Avramenko (Russia), organist of the Kaliningrad Cathedral.
The program will feature works by I.S. Bach and A.mirzoev.
Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Arif Mirzoyev is a composer, pianist and organist. He studied at the Azerbaijan State Conservatory (now the Baku Academy of Music) in the class of Gar Garayev. Mirzoev was awarded high awards at many competitions, including the International Competition named after I.S. Bach.
Evgeny Avramenko graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky,where he received his professional education in the field of organ performance. Currently he performs concerts in Latvia, Belarus, Azerbaijan and abroad, arousing great interest among the public.
