When she found herself in debt, Jéssica looked for help, didn’t find it and decided to create a plan to control the ‘chaos’

Do you know when you understand that dialogue is essential, but you still need to have that difficult conversation in your relationship? Despite the possible tension, being honest changes a lot of things and talking to yourself and organizing your financial life to change direction follows the same logic. An example is businesswoman and financial consultant Jéssica Arruda, who has turned her trajectory around since she realized this and now works helping other people along the way.
As the daughter of an entrepreneurial mother and a father who was a banker, she says that she had good references from an early age. Afterwards, she studied Business Administration and specialized courses, but, in her words, life had to be an internship for her.
“After the pandemic, I found myself in a delicate situation: professionally frustrated and in debt. I looked for professional help and didn’t find what I needed”, he says about the complicated moment. Seeing the scenario, the businesswoman decided that she would help her herself.
Revisiting the theories she had learned, she says that she found the courage to map out her life and begin to control the “chaos”. “From this, I recovered my self-esteem and sought to build a new reality with more stability, less stress and with more opportunities to invest in my personal and professional goals.”
Looking at what she has gained since being able to organize herself, Jéssica explains that she has also seen her anxiety and limitations being reduced. For her, regaining control of the situation made her self-confidence return.

To give an example, Jéssica explains that she likes to use the metaphor of growing a vegetable garden. Initially, it is necessary to ensure that the foundation is solid, without financial weeds getting in the way, that is, understanding your expenses and income.
Along this path, it is important to eliminate what is not necessary. “Then, it’s time to plant the seeds of financial knowledge, choosing strategies that align with each person’s goals. With proper management, watered with continuous learning, it is possible to see these seeds transform into fruits of stability and financial independence.”
And, thinking about the end of the year, the consultant argues that it is a suitable time to reflect and plan. “Starting financial organization now will allow people to enter the next year with clarity of purpose, well-defined goals and new behaviors.”
