Boxer Evgeny Orlov admitted that he is waiting for the fight between Vyacheslav Datsik and Zelemkhan “Machine Gunner” Dukaev, which will be held as part of the “Boxing Evening” on REN TV.
“This is a different weight category. Yes, the “Machine Gunner” will run around there until he catches a powerful blow from Slavin. <…> I am sure that Slava will win, ”Orlov told Izvestia on January 28.
In other fights, Maxim Novoselov and Max “Ax” Shcherbakov, as well as Pavel Shulsky and Daniyal “T-34” Elbaev will fight. According to Orlov, Shcherbakov and Novoselov are equal opponents.
“Shulsky is a master, he has technique, he has endurance <...> There will be no surprises here. Shulsky the only [стоит] keep the defense <...> For me personally, this fight is interesting, ”said the boxer.
Earlier on Friday, Dukaev spoke about tactics in the upcoming fight, noting that he will start attacking from the second round and the goal will be the opponent’s liver.
On the eve of the “Machine Gunner” shared with “Izvestia” his expectations from the upcoming fight with Datsik. According to the fighter, now he has lost his speed, but he managed to recover a little. Dukaev stressed that he did not intend to lose.
Boxer Grigory Drozd also noted that Datsik was gaining momentum and became assertive. In his opinion, Dukaev will face a serious opponent in the ring.
