A new complaint has been filed by the group of private nursing homes Orpea. This time it is targeting its former managing director, Yves Le Masne, the group announced in a press release on Wednesday.
This complaint, filed Tuesday with the prosecutor of Nanterre, evokes “facts likely to characterize offenses of misuse of property or credit of the company, breach of trust, complicity, concealment or money laundering”.
It complements a previous complaint against X for abuse of corporate assets filed by the group in April.

Yves Le Masne was first Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Orpea, from 2006. He was then Chief Executive Officer, from 2010. Orpea’s Board of Directors terminated his functions on January 30 this year, following the publication of the investigative book “Les Fossoyeurs”, denouncing the practices of the group.
Suspected of institutional abuse and financial offences, Orpea has since been the subject of a judicial investigation. A new management team arrived this summer at the head of the group present in 23 countries and which manages 350 establishments in France.
She presented a transformation plan last month aimed at getting the group back on track.
