Orphaned girls sexually abused: 84-year-old former priest jailed for 12 years

New York: A former priest has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for sexually abusing children in the country. Richard Dashback, 84, was convicted. The sentence was handed down Tuesday by a court in East Timor. The case against him was that he sexually abused several orphaned girls who had been in his care while he was a priest.

This is the first case of sexual harassment against a priest in the United States. He started a shelter home for orphans and orphans in the 1990s. He later sexually abused children under the age of 14 in the same shelter home.

He was demoted from the priesthood following the incident. A total of 14 cases have been registered against him in the incident.
