Social media influencer Orry has accused actress Sara Ali Khan of being a “fake friend” after their decade-long relationship collapsed, alleging that she failed to support him during a personal crisis. During an appearance on the “Double Date” podcast hosted by Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, the Navbharat Times reported that Orry claimed the actress “disappeared” when he needed her most.
A ten-year friendship ends over perceived abandonment
Orry described a friendship with the actress that spanned approximately 10 years, beginning during their college days. He stated that he had remained a constant presence during her most difficult periods.
The relationship fractured when Orry faced his own “darkest time” in 2021. According to Aaj Tak, Orry alleged that the actress did not contact him to check on his well-being during this interval, according to AajTak. He expressed deep hurt that she did not make even a single phone call to him when the “tables turned.”
Orry noted that when he was with her, he did not feel the need to constantly take photos or videos for social media outside of parties.
When she was going through her most difficult time, even then I was there. We were in Goa when she got caught in a big case and I was the one standing with her. When the chance came in life for her to stand up for me, she disappeared. I felt very bad at that time.

Orry blames Amrita Singh for the fallout
The dispute extends to the actress’s mother, Amrita Singh. Orry alleged that Amrita Singh mistreated him and spoke ill of him to others, claiming her behavior contributed to the end of the friendship. This led him to unfollow both the actress and her mother on social media.
Orry explained his decision to sever ties publicly, suggesting that maintaining a facade of friendship would validate the treatment he received.

Social media interactions track the tension
The tension between the two parties became visible through several specific social media interactions and statements:
- 2021: Orry claimed to have experienced a traumatic and difficult period due to interactions with Amrita Singh, an event he described as a “dark time” in his life that felt like a “hellish situation.”
- August 2025: Reports suggest friction occurred when Orry shared photos of Sara on her birthday that some on social media deemed “bad.”
- January 2026: Orry shared an Instagram reel featuring “3 worst names,” which included the names Sara, “Amrita,” and “Palak,” according to Bhaskar. He later deleted the reel.
- Post-January 2026: Following the reel controversy, the actress and her brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan, unfollowed Orry on Instagram. Orry had also previously referred to Ibrahim as “shameless” during a podcast.
- November 2026: Orry addressed the controversy directly during his appearance on the “Double Date” podcast.
Orry plans to settle accounts personally
Orry stated that he does not rely on karma to settle scores. Jagran reported that he admitted to holding grudges for years and actively planning how to respond to those who hurt him. He stated that he plans his revenge and that it may take years to execute.
I don’t wait for karma. I will take revenge myself and it will happen when you are not even thinking about it. If you have hurt me, then I will also hurt you and settle the account.
Orry, as quoted by Jagran
As of November 6, 2026, no official response or statement has been released by Sara Ali Khan or her family regarding these allegations.
