BOLZANO. A man of 23 yearsresident in Palermo and on the run since June, was arrested in Ortisei. The young man had fled Sicily to escape the house arrest that had been imposed on him by the Judicial Authority following a series of multiple crimes, which the young man had committed against property and personal safety.
Yesterday evening an altercation with another citizen who, frightened by the violence and arrogance shown, requested the intervention of the Company’s military Carabinieri of Ortisei.
The latter, having arrived on the scene and restored calm, proceeded to check the people involved, discovering the pending provision against the young man, who was immediately brought to justice.
The check carried out revealed a curriculum dotted with a long series of crimes committed in the past, with over eight episodes of reports and arrests for resisting a Public Official. Following the events that occurred in Ortisei and after the summary trial, held yesterday 4th Julythe man was sentenced to one year in prison.
