Oscar D’Intino found dead at home in St Moritz: suicide of the super banker

Mourning in the world of Italian finance. Oscar D’Intino, 52, in charge of the Global Family Office di Ubs Italy, was found dead in his home in Sankt Moritz, Switzerland. The manager lived in Milan in Corso Venezia and was married and father of two daughters aged 5 and 9. As he writes Dagospia, he would have committed suicide by hanging himself. For the investigators, the reasons for the tragic act are still unknown.

Originally from Abruzzo, graduated from Bocconi University in Milan, D’Intino between 2000 and 2013 had worked in Morgan Stanley in the areas of wealth management, capital markets and banking, working with family office structures. D’Intino had held various positions in fixed income and capital markets also for Morgan Stanley and he had worked in structured finance, in private equity and in M&A in other institutions. In 2013 he was appointed to head the Global Family Office of Ubs Italia.
