Oscar Garcia regrets “a score that is too severe” for Reims

by time news

Oscar Garcia, the coach of Reims beaten dryly 4-1 by OM gave his feelings after the meeting : «The idea was to control the game in the first half and not take a goal quickly. It could have made them nervous. But that was not the case and we had the bad luck to score against our camp. Then the second goal just before the break hurt us. We did better in the second half and I think the score is too severe. The difference was made on the lanes where their pistons made the difference. We also missed narrowly in front of goal. We hit as much as them and it’s 4-1. We have to be a little more balanced but we have to remember the positive things, like our number of shots. For a team like us, having absences in the starting 11 is not the same thing. I’m happy with the personality in the second half. In the first half, there was a bit of fear in a young team».
