As reported by İdman.biz, this was stated at a press conference before the game by Federico Copitelli, the head coach of the Croatian club Osijek, who will face Zira in the third qualifying round of the Conference League.
Copitelli expressed his opinion about tomorrow’s match against Zira at home:
“Zira” won away against “Sheriff”. At home, they lost in a penalty shootout, receiving a red card. This tells us that we have a difficult task ahead. They are fighting for the title in their championship. If you look at the results of “Qarabag” in Europe, you can conclude that the championship of Azerbaijan is at a high level. We need to play well if we want to advance to the next stage. “Zira” is twice as strong as our previous opponent ”Levadia”. They are a technical, high-quality, and experienced team.”
Note that the Osijek – Zira match will take place tomorrow and will kick off at 10:00 PM at the Opus Arena.
