Ostapenko has not been in the top ten of the WTA ranking since May 20.

Meanwhile, in this season’s ranking, Latvia’s first racket has lost two positions and occupies the 11th place.

The second racket of Latvia, Darja Semenistaja, has also moved up one place in the latest ranking and occupies the 135th position, Diāna Marcinkēviča has moved up six places and occupies the 319th place, while Anastasija Sevastova has recovered five positions and occupies the 365th place.

The other Latvian female tennis players have dropped in the ranking – Daniela Vismane (426th) and Kamilla Bartona (547th) by one place, Valērija Kargina (1156th) – by two places, while Margarita Ignatieva has lost nine places (1257th).

The leader of the ranking is still the Polish Iga Šviontek, but the Belarusian Arina Sabalenka has moved up from the third to the second place, having overtaken Cory Goff from the USA. Yelena Rybakina from Kazakhstan is still fourth, Jasmine Paolini from Italy is fifth, followed by American Jessica Pegula and Jen Xinwen from China. The Czech Barbora Krejčikova has moved up to the eighth place from the ninth place, having passed the Greek Maria Sakari, while the top ten is completed by Ostapenko, who has overtaken Daniel Collins from the USA.

In the doubles ranking, Ostapenko maintains the 18th position, while Wismane (178th) and Semenistaya (179th) managed to climb four places. Marcinkeviča dropped by four places (2559), Barton regained one position (339th), and Ignatieva fell by four places (868th). Daniela Darta Feldmane (1248th) and Marina Markina (1257th) have lost ten places each, Kargina has slipped down by six (1369th) places, while Marija Semenistaja has moved up by 92 places to the 1483rd position.
