Unni Mukundan, who gained attention through the posters, has announced the release of Shefiq’s Sathoth. The film will hit theaters on November 25.
Anup Pandalam is directing the film, which is produced by the actor himself under the banner of Unni Mukundan Films. The film is distributed by Goodwill Entertainments.
Earlier, some of the posters of the film and its text were much debated. A poster of the film, which was released last year, said, ‘Are all the upper class sweets in this cold cage?’ It was written. This poster was based on a tea shop.
The director was asked about the same. “No one can ever make a film without their own politics. My politics as a writer are evident in this text. It can also be seen in movies. Meanwhile Shefiq’s Joy will be a feel good movie. He is making the film as a great entertainer,’ was Anoop’s reply.
Shefiq’s Joy is the first film of Anoop, who is well-known to Malayalis for his prank show Gulumal. According to reports, the film tells a story set in a rural environment and comedy has a lot of importance in the film.
Eldo Isaac is the cameraman of the film. Editing is done by Naufal Abdullah. Music is composed by Shaan Rahman. Divya Pillai and Sminu Sijo are playing other important roles in the film.
