Famous Kerala director Adoor Gopalakrishnan has warned that OTD will destroy cinema.
Adoor Gopalakrishnan(80) is a respected personality in Indian cinema who has directed more than 12 films including ‘Swayamvaram’, ‘Eli Paddayam’, ‘Nalu Pannenuvu’ and won 16 National Awards, 18 Kerala State Awards, Dada Saheb Phalke in 2004.

In this case, he said in a recent interview, “Cinema watched in theaters is a social experience. How can you watch it on a small screen? We were pushed to OTD due to the paralysis of houses due to Corona. But if cinema is to survive, it should not depend on the small screen. In particular, films made for OTD will destroy cinema,” he said.
