Ouarzazate – The Grand Ouarzazate Foundation for Sustainable Development has mobilized its energies and capacities to come to the aid of the douars surrounded by snow in the province of Ouarzazate, through the distribution of urgently needed food and supplies for the benefit of the people targeted by this operation.
“Based on the mutual aid approach that it has always adopted during the various stages of national solidarity, and responding to the call of national duty, which requires intensifying efforts to mitigate the effects of the cold wave and snowfall on the affected population in areas of the province of Ouarzazate, the Grand Ouarzazate Foundation for Sustainable Development has organized itself, mobilizing its energies and capacities to deploy its solidarity action at the provincial level, in coordination with the various social institutions concerned, and this, by coming to the aid of the douars surrounded by snow, through the distribution of food and supplies urgently needed for the benefit of the people targeted by this operation,” indicates a press release from the Foundation.
This social and humanitarian operation is part of the efforts led by the Foundation, as a component of civil society, for local action, in these exceptional climatic conditions, aimed at alleviating the suffering of the population, the press release adds.
According to the same source, the Foundation’s solidarity approach is inspired by “the authentic values of our religion and the enlightened guidance of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect Him, assist Him and keep Him for the good of our dear country.”
