Ouigo analyzes expanding its current services with the inclusion of a new connection with Valladolid. The initial proposal will begin with two daily frequencies, first thing in the morning and another one in the late afternoon, between Madrid, Segovia and Valladolid.

To this end, it has requested a capacity study from Adif and is awaiting authorization from the infrastructure manager and the Railway Safety Agency. According to the planned plans, the date to start these new services would be the summer of 2024. In addition, it is also studying connecting these relations with Albacete and Alicante.
Likewise, the procedure to standardize the trains on this list has begun and the next step is to begin training train drivers. With the announced services, 509 seats will be offered per train between both destinations in a single unit, although if there is an increase in demand, higher capacity trains will be added, multiple units of 1,018 seats.
Tickets will go on sale starting at nine euros, while there will be a fixed rate of five euros for children between four and thirteen and the journey will be free for children under three. This relationship is part of Ouigo’s expansion plan in Spain, in which it plans to reach new destinations such as Murcia, Malaga and Seville by 2024.
