It is very common to see now that in many churches they talk about everything except Jesus Christ, they even take the pulpit to talk about politics, football, personal situations of the preacher, but the gospel of Jesus Christ is not with appear for any reason. . The Apostle Paul tells the people of the church in Corinth that he has already taught them the gospel of Jesus Christ which is the basis of their faith, but they must build on it, that is, preach everything that is in the gospel. The essence of the gospel is the atoning work of the Lord Jesus on the cross of Calvary, through the gospel he was able to reconcile the world with the Eternal Father, and forgive sins so that we could be saved and enjoy from eternal life, likewise. because he was lost in the Garden of Eden because of sin. Jesus did not stay on that cross, but he rose again on the third day, defeating death. One cannot teach anything other than Jesus Christ, because he is the foundation of our faith, anyone who teaches anything different will be considered anathema which means cursed. To reflect: Who is the Christ you preach or teach your faith? Is this foundation laid in your life? Do you have a good knowledge of the person and work of Jesus Christ? Have you laid any foundation other than Jesus Christ in your life?
