As much as they try to convince us once again that the climate crisis, the strong wind, the “individual responsibility” are to blame, the equation of which policy is responsible for the environment being completely destroyed at an exponential rate remains unsolved for them. The policy that sees our lives as a cost, the policy of capital, the capitalist mode of production creates hundreds of dead people, destroys nature and subjects it to its needs. It becomes clear that our debt beyond the practical support is the fight here and now to overturn these policies of the governments and the EU, to live decently, according to our needs and not the profits of a few!

-Immediate mobilization of all for the overthrow of this policy that burns everything that is left standing.
-Immediate and full compensation of those affected now! Direct government aid while the consequences of disasters last.
-Restructuring of the forestry service and a single forest protection-forest firefighting agency. Reinforcement of the Fire Department with permanent personnel, their inclusion in the heavy and unhealthy ones, reinforcement of the equipment with sufficient air and ground means and modern firefighting vehicles.
-Protection measures, strengthening every fire protection system, increasing the state budget for forest protection!
– No land use change in the burned forest areas. Absolute protection of nature from “investors”. Full protection of forest regeneration and reforestation interventions by the public forest service. Not in private reforestation. TAIPED is out of the woods.
– Money for fire protection and social needs, no spending on subsidizing “green industry”.
– Adaptation of the examination of our fire-stricken fellow students.
