Football coach Abbas Attiya confirmed that the match of our national team against its Omani counterpart is very important, and that it has entered the decisive phase of the Oman match and the remaining matches.
Attiya said in an interview with the World Cup Road program, which was broadcast by the Iraqi Sports Channel and followed by the (INA): “Our national team has entered the decisive phase of the Oman match, and the remaining matches and their calculations on paper must be realistic and not imaginary.”
For his part, coach Ali Wahib said, “The Oman national team is a good team, but it is not on par with our national team. However, these are qualifier matches, in which there are no measurements, especially since the Iraqi team did not appear in its true form in these qualifiers.”
He stated, “Coach Casas is the one who makes the decision to choose the squad and the appropriate player when it meets the Oman national team, which is a good team that will play in its stadium and in front of its fans, especially since in our last matches we only achieved victory with difficulty.”
How does Abbas Attiya plan to handle the pressure of playing in front of Oman’s home fans?
