Disadvantages of blowing hot food

There are habits that we do and we do not realize that they negatively affect our health, and as we mentioned that blowing on food is one of the most negative habits that poses a threat to health, as it is one of the habits forbidden by our Noble Messenger, and its damages to health are as follows:-

  • During blowing on food while it is hot, saliva or mucus may fall into the food unintentionally. This leads to food spoilage and makes it smell unpleasant.
  • Also, blowing on hot food leads to the release of bacteria in the mouth into the food, which leads to stomach ulcers, and may lead to the growth of free radicals in the body and subsequently to cancer, especially stomach cancer.
  • Although the bacteria inside the mouth are beneficial bacteria, when they leave the mouth, they interact with the food and become harmful.
  • Bloating in food may contribute to a digestive disorder, irritating the stomach, intestines, and possibly the colon.
  • It is also advised not to blow on the food and wait until it cools down a little, and then eat it for the sake of our health.
