San Francisco The US short message service Twitter is unavailable to thousands of users due to a global outage. This emerges on Thursday from data from the Downdetector.com website, which collects failure reports from various sources. According to the website, as of 01:40 (CET) at night, over 10,000 people reported problems accessing the social media site. Some users also reported that the notifications feature is not working. The cause of the failure initially remained unclear.
