Monkeypox is a rare disease that is caused by a virus and is similar to smallpox, but not as severe. Symptoms include fever, headache, muscle aches, and a rash. The Ministry of Health in Vietnam has issued a warning to the public to take precautions and to seek immediate medical attention if any symptoms of monkeypox are observed. Measures such as practicing good hygiene, avoiding contact with wild animals, and cooking meat thoroughly are being recommended to prevent further spread of the disease.

Authorities continue to closely monitor the situation and are taking necessary steps to manage and contain the outbreak. The government has also urged the public to stay informed and follow official guidance to protect themselves and their communities.
