As noted by the New Left, citing a report from dnews.gr, “one day after the outbreak of the devastating fire in Attica, while the flames were still raging uncontrollably, Deputy Minister of Development Ms. Raptis was celebrating on a boat cruising in Astypalaia.”
According to the parliamentary group, “the provocative and unempathetic behavior of government officials is not unprecedented. However, we will not accept that it is normality.”
In conclusion, the New Left highlights that “Ms. Raptis, who even accompanied the Prime Minister to the show in Penteli yesterday, must immediately submit her resignation.”

It is noted that according to the report of dnews.gr, the incident took place on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 13, on one of the boats cruising to the inaccessible beaches of Astypalaia.
