Roger Suárez, candidate for mayor of Magdalena, in Colombia, achieved what every political party longs for: making a campaign video go viral on social networks, but at a high cost, since criticism came in thousands.

It is a recording where Suárez can be seen sitting in a chair, while two half-naked women move their butts in bikinis, with their backs to the camera, one against the other. In the background, the popular TikTok song Brrr Skibidi Dop Dop Yes Yes plays.

Suddenly, the politician intervenes, moves the models’ hips with his hands and says: “Everyone who becomes mayor becomes degenerate, I am not for that: old, yes; stubborn, no.”

Suárez promotes his campaign under the slogan “It’s our time” and competes against 12 candidates in the upcoming regional elections for mayor of Plato.

According to Colombian media, the candidate is recognized for his “sarcastic” style.

Dozens of comments on social networks attacked the video for considering it “denigrating” for using the image of two half-naked women performing pelvic movements. Her main detractors have been her campaign rivals, who also took advantage of the video to attack Suárez and her work team with everything.

At the moment, neither he nor his political party have issued a position after the release of the video, which is already going around the world.
