The intense dissatisfaction and reaction of Aphrodite Latinopoulou was provoked by the unacceptable things we saw at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in France.
The Evros MEP and President of the “Voice of Logic” party, commenting on what happened in Paris, stated:
“Instead of seeing the Olympic ideal, we saw the ideal of LGBTQ+. Is there anyone who sincerely believes that the woke agenda is not being imposed?
Personally, as a Greek and as a European citizen, I was ashamed of this opening of the Olympic Games that children were watching.
Completely surrendered to the woke agenda, France profoundly altered and insulted the spirit of the Olympic Games, turning them into something between Eurovision and a celebration of LGBTQ+.
A spectacle that was leagues away from the spirit of the Olympic Games and which conveniently eliminated the white heterosexual man from everywhere. I sincerely hope we never see such images at the opening of the Olympic Games again.
The London opening was far superior, and Greece, out of competition, moved the entire planet.
The illustrative photo could perhaps be from a circus, maybe from a drag queen show, but definitely not from the Olympic Games.”
