Makkah – The Kingdom has issued more than 100 million visas for Hajj and Umrah in the past 25 years, said Abdul Rahman bin Fahd Shams, Assistant Undersecretary for Umrah Affairs of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
Earlier it took many days to grant visas. Visas can now be issued within minutes. He thanked the country for the digital transformation it had witnessed.
It was explained that those who want to perform Umrah can come to the country with any visa and pilgrims can enter Saudi through various available borders.
