Exactly one year ago, on September 6, 2023, the Municipality of Valdieri launched the Whatsapp serviceThe deputy mayor comments on this matter Sharon Giraudo: “A simple, fast and free service to inform citizens. After the success with Facebook and Instagram, we are also landing on the WhatsApp messaging app”. With these words, “WhatsApp INFOVALDIERI” was activated, the service created with the aim of being ever closer to citizens, informing them in real time about everything that concerns the small community.
“After a year I am very happy with how the subscriptions to the service have grown exponentially. To date there are about 450 subscribers, with a very broad age target. Whatsapp, together with other social channels, allows us to make our territory known even far away, always maintaining an active connection with residents and tourists. Every week I take care of sharing the “Sunday Column” with the update of the works carried out by the Administration; therefore we talk about Public Works, Maintenance of the Territory, Social Initiatives, Events and in case of need, urgent communications such as public safety ordinances are shared”adds the deputy mayor who is entirely responsible for managing social channels and sharing news.
To sign up for the service, simply save the number 376.2044987 in your address book and send the message “Name Surname – ATTIVA INFOVALDIERI” via WhatsApp. Those interested will thus be included in the list of recipients of messages relating to useful news, notices, weather alerts and event notifications. The messages are sent in broadcast mode, a feature that guarantees user privacy, as no one will be able to see the contacts in the list.
