The sale of tickets for the comeback tour of the British band Oasis started on Saturday with great interest from the audience, which caused an overload of booking platforms on the Internet. People complained that they were seeing error pages in their browser or that the site kicked them out of the queue after waiting for hours before they had a chance to buy.

Those interested also criticized the pricing policy of the Ticketmaster distributor. He sometimes wanted more than twice the advertised price for particularly sought-after tickets in Great Britain, the server of the Sky News station pointed out. At 8 p.m., the group announced on the X network that all dates were sold out.

In 2025, Oasis will play their first concerts after a sixteen-year hiatus. So far they have announced 17 shows in the UK and Ireland. According to the AP agency, over a million tickets were sold overall during Saturday.

These can only be resold via the official secondary market of distributors Ticketmaster and Twickets “at face value”, the band announced in advance. But “is the face value 150 bucks or 350 bucks?” responded one of the users, alluding to the increase in the price of some tickets by the Ticketmaster network.

Fans complained about the system of increasing the prices of “in demand” tickets already in the afternoon. One user shared a screenshot showing that a standing ticket, the advertised price of which was 151.25 pounds (4,500 crowns) excluding fees, was being sold for 356.80 pounds (10,600 crowns) during high demand.

Ticketmaster says on its website that the “in-demand” tickets offer “particularly sought-after views and seats” and are adjusted according to supply and demand.

Just after midday, distributor Twickets told fans who had been kicked out of the virtual queue that they could register to sell on the official secondary market, which it would open “very soon”. At the same time, he warned against unofficial resale channels such as Viagogo, where tickets are available for several times the price.
