From the beginning of the year until February 29, 1,006,681 e-vignettes were sold for BGN 59,513,848. The most preferred is the annual vignette – 615,564. It is also the most profitable for drivers, since the toll for a day of use of the entire republican infrastructure is about 24 cents, the road agency reminds. After the annual vignettes, the weekly vignettes are the most purchased – 263,092 pcs., followed by weekend vignettes – 63,602 pcs., monthly – 53,578 pcs. and quarterly – 10,845 pcs.

For the second year in a row, the prices of e-vignettes for passenger cars remain unchanged. The annual ticket is BGN 87, the quarterly ticket – BGN 48, the monthly ticket – BGN 27, and the weekly ticket – BGN 13. The price of the weekend vignette remains unchanged – BGN 9. The most advantageous for drivers is the annual ticket.

Revenues from toll fees from January 1 to February 29 are BGN 91,123,733.26. Of these, BGN 8,429,474.76 are from route maps, and BGN 82,694,258.57 are from toll declarations. About BGN 4.6 million was collected from the control activity – imposed compensatory fees and acts for establishing administrative violations. With this, the total revenues from road fees – e-vignette, toll and control activities, in January and February 2024 are over BGN 155 million

At the beginning of February, the road agency announced that the total revenue from tolls in January 2024 was over BGN 78 million. Toll revenue from the beginning of the year to the beginning of February was BGN 45,308,089.61. Of these, 3 BGN 896,590.61 were from route maps, and BGN 41,411,499.05 from toll declarations. About BGN 2.2 million was collected from the control activity – imposed compensatory fees and acts for establishing administrative violations.

More than 239,000 e-vignettes expired in March. On the website www.bgtoll.bg from the “Vignette check” button, after entering the vehicle’s registration number and the country in which it is registered, every driver can receive information about the deadline for the electronic vignette, regardless of where it was purchased, they announced from the Road Infrastructure Agency. The status can be “active”, “expired” or “unused” in cases where the vignette is taken with a delayed start up to 30 days from the start date of validity.
