The Department of Agriculture announced the inspection results of imported and domestically produced fruits and vegetables between 10-16 November.
The results obtained as a result of the analysis carried out in the State Laboratory by taking samples from Imported and Domestic Products were evaluated according to the Pesticide Residue Limits used in the European Union.
According to the information provided by the Department of Agriculture, 35 samples out of 39 imported products were evaluated in the clean category, while 4 products were detected as over-limit plant protection products.
Since an above-limit plant protection product was detected in Apple (Golden) and Sultani grapes belonging to Engin Değirmenci, the products were returned to their origin upon the request of the company.

Since an over-limit plant protection product was detected in red apples belonging to ORC Foods, the product will be destroyed or returned to its origin upon the company’s request.
Among domestic products, 17 out of 17 samples were evaluated in the clean category, and no above-limit plant protection product and/or non-recommended plant protection product was detected in any sample.
