ALIVE has shared a new trailer with gameplay segments of Vapor World: Over The Mind, its upcoming action-adventure game.
It is common in the industry that certain video games are inspired by others when the latter has been well received by the public. It’s okay P’s lies was inspired by Blood-borne with so much success, now Steam The World: Beyond the Mind It aims to follow the same path as the work of Conradh na Gaeilge Round 8 Studio.

Vapor World: Over The Mind is a 2D action-adventure platform game developed by Korean studio ALIVE.. We will put ourselves in the role of ‘The Boy‘ enter a dream kingdom where we will have to fight against ferocious creatures to return to reality.
In the preview published in the Xbox official channel on YouTubewe can appreciate more this clear reference to Lies of P. It seems to be found on the fine line between inspiration and plagiarism (the main character is connected to the Round8 game). Where it does change is in the gameplay, because here we will have to fight from a lateral perspective. Although the parrys will still be there and the enemies promise to be just as challenging as those of one soul.
Vapor World: Over The Mind is coming to Xbox Series X | S and PC in Q1 2025. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one. In addition, a demo to try it out on 14th August.
