On the evening of April 22, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hau, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ba Dong commune (Ba To district, Quang Ngai province) confirmed that the incident had just happened in the commune. rollover carry wood glue injured 6 people.

Around 6:20pm on April 22, truck 76C-065.94 pulled a semi-trailer 15R-103.95, carrying acacia wood was moving in the direction of Ba To district to Dung Quat Port (Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province), arriving Km 23+300 National Highway 24 (Suoi Loa section, Ba Dong commune, Ba To district) was overturned.

All the acacia wood on the trailer spilled onto the roadside residential area. As a result, 6 people were injured, including 2 pregnant women and 3 children.

In addition, at that time there was 1 car and 6 motorcycle is stopped, parked on the side of the damaged road.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hau added that 4 people with serious injuries were transferred to Quang Ngai Provincial General Hospital for emergency treatment, while 2 people with minor injuries are being treated at Ba To District Medical Center.

The truck driver carrying acacia wood left the scene. Previously, in the area where the car was overturned, a family had a birthday party for their children, so there were still some people and vehicles on the roadside in this area.

Immediately after the incident, the Ba To district’s functional forces were present to take the injured person to the emergency room, and at the same time investigated to clarify the cause of the accident.
