In Chicago, FOB bread wheat fell $13.00 to $235.00/ton, France lost €9.00 to $226.00/ton, and in Ukraine and Russia prices were unchanged at $243.00 and $245.00 respectively. ./ton. The movement in corn is similar – in the USA the decrease is only one dollar to 214.00 USD/ton, France a more significant change down by minus 11.00 EUR to 214.00 EUR/ton. Russia dropped the price dramatically three weeks ago and is now unchanged at $228.00/ton.
The price of barley in France was also adjusted down by €9.00 to €210.00/ton. Euronext rapeseed, which has experienced a significant price appreciation and subsequent collapse in recent months, is now the exception, going up and adding 7.25 euros to 468.25 euros/ton.
The price of unrefined sunflower oil on the Rotterdam Stock Exchange, after rising steadily for a month before reversing the trend and collapsing, continues down by minus another $20.00, now quoted at $970.00/ton. However, refined sugar for October delivery rose slightly by $3.80 to $694.80/ton on the London exchange.
On the Sofia Stock Exchange AD, the month of July was active and the trade moved. The beginning of August is much calmer, the offers prevail in the “Zarno” subdistrict of SSB AD. The selling quotes for bread wheat for this week are from BGN 480.00 to BGN 591.00/ton, buyers respond with BGN 300.00/ton, delivery DAP. However, the announcements for the sale of fodder wheat reached a deal and were realized at a price of BGN 335.00/ton. Maize, which is available from BGN 450.00 to BGN 480.00/ton, and oil sunflower from BGN 750.00 to BGN 810.00/ton. All prices are without VAT.
In the subgroup “Foodstuffs” the prices of the main goods are stable, the supply of white flour continues at initial prices of BGN 890.00/ton and white refined sugar at BGN 1940.00/ton, as well as oil in bottles at BGN 1.95/ton l. There is also an offer of yellow peas at BGN 1,200/ton without VAT.
In the sub-circle “Industrial goods” of SSB AD, this week passed as usual under the sign of energy carriers: there were deals for firewood at BGN 150.00-155.00/cubic m, coal at BGN 825.00-860-00/ton and for pellets at BGN 665.00 – 710.00/ton. A95H gasoline went up from BGN 2,070.00 to BGN 2,283.33/thousand liters, B6 diesel fuel went from BGN 1,990.00 to BGN 2,283.33/thousand liters. Propane butane gas was sold in the range of BGN 910.00 – 925.00/thousand l, and gas oil for PKC at BGN 2353.18 – 2392.23/thousand l.
