Mexico City: Shots fired at the plane carrying Ovidio Guzman, son of drug mafia boss Jacqueen El Chapo. The incident took place at the Culiacan airport in Mexico. Footage emerged of panicked passengers huddling inside the plane after the shooting. Reportedly, no one was injured in the shooting.

International media reports that 29 people were killed during the operation to capture Ovidio Guzman.

Ovidio Guzman, who was arrested the other day, was put on a plane to take him from Sinaloa to Mexico City. He was supposed to be taken to Mexico City on a Mexico Airlines flight. Footage of the shooting has gone viral on social media. The footage shows passengers lying under their seats screaming. The plane was shot down by members of the Sinaloa cartel, to which El Chapo belonged. When El Chapo was arrested in 2016, drug mafia gangs went on a rampage.
