After a wave of price reductions in China – Tesla is breaking the market in Israel as well – according to a new price list published by the manufacturer | Details of updated prices in the article

The electric vehicle company “Tesla” lowered the prices of the various Tesla models including the Tesla 3 tonight (Thursday) so that for the first time in years its price drops below the threshold of NIS 200,000.

This is the second time in 2023 that Tesla lowers prices. As I recall, at the beginning of the year, Tesla dramatically updated the price list when, according to the Calcalist publication, the base version of the Tesla 3, whose “dry” price for the consumer without tax was NIS 180,000, was reduced to a price of NIS 160,000 without tax, which means that the price of the Tesla 3 Basic with tax dropped overnight from NIS 242,000 to NIS 205,000. Also, Tesla 3 Long Range, which cost NIS 289,000 with taxes, has been reduced to NIS 252,000. Tesla 3 in the highest trim level – the Performance – instead of NIS 319,000, its price dropped to NIS 289,000.

As mentioned, now according to the report in Calcalist, Tesla announced another ‘market break’, when the company decided to update the price list again and cut prices.

Below is the breakdown: Tesla 3 in the basic trim level which until yesterday cost NIS 205,000, now costs NIS 189,000. The price of the Tesla 3 in the intermediate long range version has also decreased: the price that was NIS 252,000 now stands at NIS 239,000. Whereas Tesla 3 in the top version – “Performance” – which cost NIS 289,000 until now, now costs NIS 252,000. Alongside these, the premium Tesla Model S was also discounted, when the price of the premium PLAID version dropped from NIS 825,000 to NIS 752,000.

As you may remember, at the beginning of the year, protests broke out in China by owners of Tesla cars because of discounts that damaged the value of used cars, now the owners of used cars will have to absorb another drop in prices.
