The British rock musician Ozzy Osbourne, who is suffering from serious health problems, says he wants to play at least one more concert for his fans. “They’ve been loyal to me for so many damn years. They write to me, they know everything about my dogs. They’re my extended family,” the 74-year-old told British music magazine Rolling Stone.
He could no longer perform regularly. Now he just wants to be healthy enough to at least play one show that he can thank for his life, the singer continued. “That’s what I’m working towards, and if I drop dead at the end, I’ll die a happy man.”
The Black Sabbath rocker canceled his long-planned and repeatedly postponed tour of Europe and Great Britain in February for health reasons – and made his comeback appearance at a festival in California in October. In September he told Metal Hammer magazine that he wanted to record a new album and then go on tour.
The Briton had made his Parkinson’s disease public, had to undergo multiple operations and had Corona. He also told Rolling Stone that a tumor was discovered and removed during spinal surgery.
