‘P. Jayarajan’s quotation connection should be investigated’; Complaint to CPM central and state leaders

Thiruvananthapuram: Complaint against CPM state committee member P Jayarajan to central and state leadership. Party workers from various places have filed a complaint demanding an inquiry into Jayarajan’s quotation connection.

According to the complaint, P Jayarajan is connected with Kannur-based gold smuggling quotation gang. The complaint also states that election funds were cut.
The complaint says that the entire amount collected while contesting the Vadakara Lok Sabha seat was not paid to the party.

It is interesting to note that information about the complaint against P Jayarajan has come out after the news that P Jayarajan raised the complaint of illegal acquisition of property by Central Committee member and LDF convener in the state committee meeting.

Meanwhile, news has also surfaced that EP Jayarajan has expressed his willingness to resign from the post of LDF convenor. The decision was taken citing health issues. He clarified that he will not participate in party committees. EP Jayarajan will not attend the CPM State Secretariat meeting scheduled to be held on Friday. Meanwhile EP Jayarajan will participate in Kozhikode INL’s program on Friday.

There were reports that P Jayarajan had accused EP Jayarajan of financial irregularities in the state committee meeting. It is alleged that money was made in the name of Ayurvedic resort in Kannur. The media had reported that state secretary MV Govindan stated in the meeting that the allegation will be investigated if it is raised in writing and P Jayarajan informed the meeting that he can file a complaint in writing.
