Nululafa,

Tongo is an island nation located in the Pacific Ocean. There are various islands in this country with a population of about one lakh people. Some of these islands also have volcanoes. Some volcanoes are located beneath the sea.

Meanwhile, on an island in the country lies the volcano Hunga Tongo. Most of that volcano is under the sea.

In this case, the volcano on the island suddenly erupted yesterday. The volcano has erupted beneath the sea. Thus, a tsunami wave formed in the sea.

The epicenter was reported below the Pacific Ocean floor, however; no tsunami alert was issued. The video of a tsunami wave crashing into a residential area is currently circulating on social media.

Currently, there are fears that large-scale tsunami waves could occur due to the recurrence of the volcano. A warning has been issued. People are advised to move to safer places.
