Thiruvananthapuram: The P. Padmarajan Award for Best Story, Novel and Director has been announced for 2021. Siddhartha Siva, who directed ‘Aan’, and Krishand, who directed Habitat, won the Best Director award. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 25,000, a sculpture and a certificate. Krishand became the best screenwriter in terms of habitat. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 15,000, a certificate and a sculpture.

V. Shinilal, author of 124, won the award of Rs. Karakoolian, written by Ambikasuthan Mangade, won the award for Best Short Story. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 15,000, a sculpture and a certificate. The film awards were decided by a jury comprising Bina Paul Chairperson and Vipin Mohan Vijayakrishnan. The awards will be presented later by Padmarajan Trust Chairman Vijayakrishnan, General Secretary Pradeep Panangad and Secretary A Chandrasekhar.
