Washington: The US has put an eclipse on Pakistan’s ballistic missile program. Sanctions have been imposed on several Chinese companies and individuals who could have played an important role in the missile program. The sanctions were announced on Thursday. This is the sixth round of sanctions imposed by the US on Chinese and Pakistani companies since November 2021. Pakistani journalist Qamar Cheema now spoke to American businessman Sajid Tarar regarding this. Sajid Tarar said that India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had recently visited the US. Many deals were struck here. In such a situation, it is possible that the US wants to please him as well. Expressing another possibility regarding the sanctions, Tarar said, ‘Today Pakistan is bowing down to the IMF for money. In such a situation, whatever it does, we cannot do anything. The third thing is that this is a signal to China. Because at this time Russia and China have come closer. They are exercising with each other. In such a situation, the US had to give some reaction.’ He further said, ‘Elections are going on in America and the Biden administration is being criticized for its foreign policy being very weak.’
Restrictions imposed to please India?
Sajid Tarar further said, ‘This is a failure of Pakistan’s foreign policy. You ask for money from those people, obviously you will have to accept their terms as well.’ He said, ‘Maybe America wants to please India, that is why the ban was imposed.’ Apart from the sanctions, he also made a statement about Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province CM Ali Amin Gandapur. Recently he had said that he will talk directly to Afghanistan. After which there was a discussion that Gandapur does not understand the country’s government and he wants to run a different foreign policy for his state.

He further said that the reason for all this is Imran Khan, who encourages such people.’ When asked if Imran Khan will be taken to a military jail, will this lead to further conflict in Pakistan? Regarding this, Tarar said, ‘The facilities that Imran is getting in jail are not given to any other prisoner. Even Nawaz Sharif has not got such facilities.’
