Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECI) has ordered a review of key documents in the foreign money laundering case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), also known as Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s PTI. This has caused trouble for Prime Minister Imran Khan.
In Pakistan, the PTI, led by Prime Minister Imran Khan, is in power. To investigate, the Election Commission set up a committee. The committee recently filed its report.

In it, the PTI stated that the party did not account for the 13 crore rupees it received from abroad from 2009-2013.

In this context, the Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan, Sikander Pasha, has issued an order directing the PTI to inspect and file a report on key documents relating to unaccounted foreign funds. The Chief Electoral Commissioner’s order is said to have caused trouble for Prime Minister Imran.
