Islamabad: Pakistan Army has carried out two air strikes against Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists. According to media reports, Pakistani Army has carried out an air strike in Afghanistan. The second air strike has been carried out in the area of Pakistan adjacent to Afghanistan. The Pakistani Army had made a big claim on Tuesday, saying that the conspiracy to attack Chinese engineers in Bisham area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in March was hatched in Afghanistan. After this claim of Pakistani Army, the news of air strike is coming. Pakistani journalist Kamran Yusuf, citing media reports, said that on May 10, Pakistani Air Force has conducted a drone strike in Paktika province of Afghanistan. Five TTP terrorists have been killed in this, who were trying to enter Pakistan. Seven terrorists have been injured. There has been no confirmation from Pakistan or Afghan Taliban regarding the air strike in Afghanistan. Apart from this, TTP was also targeted in Pakistani territory.
Four terrorists died in the attack
The Khorasan Diary said in its report, ‘The attack was targeted at a TTP combat unit near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the Waziristan area of Pakistan. A person associated with TTP, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that at least four terrorists were killed in the attack. Some others have been confirmed injured. TTP further said, ‘We have sent a team to identify the exact location of the attack, identify the killed terrorists and their associates and know the exact number of casualties. We are waiting for their report.
Pakistan had attacked before also
Earlier in March, Pakistan had carried out air strikes in the border area of Afghanistan. Eight people including children and women were killed in this. Tension had increased between the two countries regarding this. Taliban had said that Pakistan had targeted the homes of civilians. Recently, Taliban was also enraged over Pakistan’s allegation of providing land for terrorist attacks. On Wednesday, the Taliban rejected Afghan involvement in the attacks, calling it irresponsible and beyond the truth.
