(24News) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that the relations between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are based on mutual trust and respect.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz was met by UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zaabi. In the meeting, it was decided to establish a working group of Punjab and UAE to increase bilateral cooperation, economic cooperation and development projects in Punjab. And the promotion of tourism was also discussed.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz invited UAE investors to invest in Punjab and assured to provide special incentives and favorable environment for UAE investors.

Maryam Nawaz appreciated the UAE’s contribution to Pakistan’s socio-economic development and said that she values ​​the UAE’s support in the fields of infrastructure, health, education and energy. Pakistan and UAE share the same thought for regional stability and prosperity. Punjab wants cooperation with UAE in agriculture, technology, green energy and other sectors.

UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zaabi praised Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for the ongoing development projects and initiatives related to climate change.

The UAE ambassador said that a developed Pakistan is the wish of the UAE, in this journey the Pakistani government and people are standing side by side, they want to work on more projects in Pakistan. Government of Punjab is committed to promote sustainable development through public private partnership.
