(24News) Pakistan‘s important progress in the field of space research has been revealed, Pakistan has become a part of China’s lunar mission Chang E6.

Pakistan will soon launch its new satellite (ICUBE) Qamar, Pakistan will launch a satellite into space through China’s lunar mission Chang 6.

Qamar was developed in collaboration with ICUBE, Pakistan Institute of Space Technology, SPARCO, Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization and Shanghai Jiaotong University. The Pakistani satellite will weigh 7 kg and is also equipped with 2 optical cameras, the primary mission of Chang’e 6 is to collect samples of lunar rings and rocks from the south pole of the Moon.

The part of the Moon that Chang’e Six will land on is not visible from Earth, and the success of the mission will be the first opportunity to obtain vital samples from the Moon’s south pole. A special satellite will also be launched to improve communication links between Chang’e-6 and the ground control room, while payloads from France, Italy and Sweden along with Pakistani satellites will also be launched by Chang’e-6. In addition, the Chang’e-6 spacecraft, consisting of an orbiter, lander, ascender and re-entry module, will be launched into space by a Lao March 5 rocket.

The Long March 5 rocket, carrying the logo of Pakistan’s Sparco along with Chinese, French and European space agencies, will attempt to collect samples from the southernmost part of the Moon for the first time in the history of lunar missions. The Long March 5 rocket for the Chang’e-6 mission has been delivered to the launcher as preparations for the departure of the Chang’e-6 mission have entered the final stages, with a launch expected in the early days of May.
