More than 20 people are said to have died in a bomb blast at a mosque in Pakistan today. Prayers were being held today as usual in a mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan. It seems that a large number of people attended and worshiped. Then, at around 1.40 in the afternoon, a bomb explosion was heard. According to the police, a person who was engaged in prayer inside the mosque detonated the bombs strapped to his body. A part of the mosque building collapsed in this attack.
It has been reported that more than 20 people have died and more than 100 people have been injured in this bomb accident. The death toll is expected to rise. A state of emergency has been declared and cordoned off in the area as rescue operations are underway.
