Islamabad: After the death of more than 50 soldiers and people of Punjabi origin in the attack by Baloch rebels in Pakistan, PM Shahbaz Sharif is furious. Shahbaz Sharif said that terrorists want to stop the development of Pakistan by targeting the China Pakistan Economic Corridor. Shahbaz said, ‘Terrorists want to create a rift between China and Pakistan. Also, their intention is to create chaos inside Pakistan.’ Shahbaz Sharif gave this statement at a time when just a day before, the Balochs had launched a fierce attack at many places in Balochistan province and at the same time, the commander of the Chinese ground army, Li Xiaoming, also reached Islamabad. Shahbaz also had a discussion with the Chinese commander on the issue of Balochistan.

Shahbaz Sharif said that the time has come to end terrorism. We will give the army every resource they need to eliminate the threat. Shahbaz condemned the violence in Balochistan. He said that talks with these groups will take place only when they accept the Constitution of Pakistan. Shahbaz Sharif made this statement in the federal cabinet meeting. After the attack by the Balochs, the Pakistani army and the Shahbaz government are shaken. At the same time, the army and the ISI are being criticized for failing to obtain intelligence in the country.

China is building CPEC, Baloch are protesting

In the meeting of the Pakistani cabinet, there was a discussion on national security and the recent increase in terrorist activities. After these attacks, while there is a security threat in Pakistan, the army is also being criticized. The Balochs have also destroyed the railway bridge in their attacks. This bridge used to connect Balochistan with Sindh and Punjab. Apart from this, many other connecting roads have been destroyed. The most horrific incident took place in Musakhail district in which the Balochs took out a bus and burnt 23 Punjabis. About 15 soldiers of the Pakistani army and security forces have also been killed.

Baloch rebels have also looted army weapons. Meanwhile, China and neighboring Iran have strongly condemned this attack by the Balochs. China has invested $65 billion in CPEC, which the Balochs are targeting. The Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement that China wants to strengthen anti-terrorism assistance to Pakistan to maintain regional peace and security. Earlier, China had reprimanded the Pakistan Army for attacking its citizens engaged in CPEC. Many Chinese citizens have been killed in Balochistan so far.
