by time news

Islamabad,

Following Sri Lanka, Pakistan is also facing severe economic crisis. The country’s foreign exchange reserves are quickly depleting. Hence it is feared that Pakistan will soon become bankrupt.

In this situation, the country’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that Pakistan is already bankrupt, which has caused a stir there. Speaking at a function held in Sialkot, his hometown, Punjab province, Khawaja Asif said:-

You must have heard that Pakistan is going bankrupt. But the truth is that it has already happened. Pakistan is bankrupt. We live in a bankrupt country. Everyone including politicians and officials are responsible for this. The solution to our problems lies within our country. The International Monetary Fund has no solution to Pakistan’s problems. It is very important for Pakistan to stand on its own feet.

Thus said Khawaja Asif.
