Islamabad: It has been decided to lift the ban on the import of luxury goods in Pakistan.
Our neighboring country Pakistan is facing a severe economic crisis. A cabinet meeting was held in May last under the leadership of Shebaz Sharif, who took over as the Prime Minister of the country last April. In it, the measures to be taken to reform the country’s economy were discussed.
After this meeting, import of non-essential and luxury goods was banned. It included 860 products. In this situation, in a meeting chaired by Pakistan’s Finance Minister Mibtab Ismail, it was decided to lift the ban imposed on the import of luxury goods.
